Wild animals are being poached on a massive scale for a variety of reasons and it is a growing threat to many different species.

The rise of poaching has coincided with the growing markets in Asia. High on the list are rhino horns which are used in traditional medicines or displayed as status symbols. Historically, the horns have been sawn off leaving the rhino with a jagged stump, now they are being completely gauged out leaving them with gaping, horrific wounds that get infected,  a life filled with pain and isolation.

As the demand increases, poachers ramp up their efforts causing the population of rhinos is dwindling, reaching critically endangered levels. Over the next 10 years we are looking at the total extinction of all species of rhinos, during our lifetime, it has reached a crisis point - Unless we act NOW.

You hear many stories about the near extinction of certain species of animals but not many of them come with a solution.  So far surgical interventions that have been tried have failed on the most affected rhinos. With new approaches, breakthroughs in technology and cutting edge sciences, the saving of one rhino could lead to the breeding of 10 more, significantly increasing the population.  This will give time for education to be rolled out, for policies to change, laws to be enforced and for poaching to stop.
The process is straight forward by teaming up with Saving The Survivors, a charity that was set up in 2012 that locates and cares for victims of poaching, the money provided will enable us to 3D scan the rhino’s wound site and create a bespoke 3D printed titanium graft which will be surgically implanted onto the skull. A skin graph will then be placed over the top to seal the wound completely freeing the rhino from infection and pain so that it can be reintegrated into protected reserves to breed and repopulate the reserve with the species.

This opportunity to help save rhinos is not the traditional way of giving, it is an immersive contribution experience. Come and see it for yourselves, know that your contribution is actually making a difference by seeing the project in action.

We will spend 4 nights staying at an picturesque location near Kruger National Park in South Africa, gaining a feel for the environment around you and settling into your surroundings. Then hear from Dr. John Burford and meet the incredible surgeons who will talk you through what a difference this innovative technology will make for the rhino population.  We’ll head out into the bush over a couple of days to meet some of the rhinos and visit the orphanage where the young of those that sadly didn’t survive being poached are being cared for.
Meet Johan the founder of Saving the Survivors and hear how your donations will create hope for the future.
The rest of the time will be spent with like minded humanitarian explorers in a relaxing environment, providing you with an opportunity to discuss not only the project but to get to know each other and expand your network, making lifelong connections.
As well as this chance to see the project in action for yourselves, we have a special gift for you to always remember the difference you have made as a token of our appreciation.
At the same time we will be shooting a documentary showing the innovative technology and using this to not only broadcast on mainstream UK TV but also as part of our schools education programme, to broaden the minds of the next generation inspiring them into the fields of math, science and engineering.

Once the documentary is ready for the public, there will be a red carpet premiere in London which you will be our VIP guests for, the pioneers of this project.

What Your Donation Will Do
  • Provide the charity the ability to expand so they can care for more animals.
  • Helps us to make sure that the orphan rhinos have the equipment that they need.
  • Fund the amazing work the charity is doing.
  • Help us build an awareness campaign.
  • Taking the surgical project to the next level using 3D custom grafts and stem cells.
